Yeah, I can see the hesitation to get them together, they're based on a couple known for staying together for years with relatively little adversity, yet they're on a network known for constant break-ups, love triangles and people acting out of character to fuel angst. They probably don't know what the hell to do with

Iris's reaction to Barry's (understandable)manpain-fueled rejection is yet more proof that she is the least frustrating woman on DCTV right now. If that had been season 4 Felicity surely she would have made the death of Barry's father about her and stormed off in a huff.

This version of Savage always reminded me of a groper at a seedy European nightclub, all that was missing was the open silk shirt.

Honestly, I'm making it seem like I was more bothered by that scene than I was, it was fine, and even if it wasn't it was like 40 seconds long, not enough to affect the episode much one way or the other. And not every affectionate exchange needs to be violin music and doves between two fictional characters. It's okay

I'm sure he'll grow on me, the vows certainly got me closer.

No, I suppose we can't.

I'm kind of an angst slut (I loved BvS for eff's sake) so I'm cool with Flash not always being light and happy, and I actually find its dramatic stuff to be pretty damn engaging, I just hope Henry's death doesn't cast a cloud over the show for too long, there still needs to be a balance.

I think the Iris and Barry shipping has come a little more naturally for me, in part because Iris has gradually become my favorite female character. I know that's probably not something that's heard here a lot, but it's true. She has more emotional tenacity than anyone on the show, with the possible exception of Joe

I loved them until I didn't.

Yeah, but who is?

Well that makes a certain sense. He still disguised his voice though…

And they're perfectly capable of doing that. I have the gifsets to prove it. I actually do like their dynamic for the most part, but every once in a while the writing sort of flattens it. The redundancy is what killed it for me this week, not necessarily anything they did.

The Barry/Patty thing never worked for me, at all. Diff'rent strokes?

He seemed a lot more into her in season one. I get it though, there's a lot of… stuff between them now that's probably hard to get past, like the whole business with Eddie. I hope they settle into a more comfortable thing soon.

I don't really get why they needed that scene, wasn't it already sort of established in the last episode that they were going to be a thing? And much better I might add?

Or it's like a Chicken Boo thing.

Is nobody talking about the fact that Barry didn't vibrate his face in front of Singh?? Like, what?!!

Eh, I've always liked Iris, I just like her in some episodes more than others. I guess the same can be said for most of these guys.

Gah! Wally went from being really annoying this episode to a complete cutie pie. Kind of like a mini reflection of his character all season.

Well, I'm sure she'll make for good company.
