wouldn't be the same without him.
wouldn't be the same without him.
Yeah, it's one of those situations where I think it's fine, but I still kind of want to smack the writers for making it squicky for other people. It almost feels like more interracial sabotage.
That makes sense. If it helps I always thought Deb and Dexter were kind of gross. Seeing as he was actually adopted and had been a member of the family since age two, and they had never come across as anything but brother and sister to me before they decided to throw a weird romantic element in there. Barry and Iris…
Yeah, why do the writers insist on making it weird? Most people aren't as messed up as I am. Although it's a decently popular ship, so at least a few people are as messed up as I am, which makes me feel better.
Well… they're gonna : /
I didn't drop it due to lack of interest, it just kind of got away from me.
Aww, I thought he's been sweet the last few episodes.
E2 Social Services guy was his inaugural victim.
I really wonder what they're going to do about the hot elephant in the room. Are they ever going to address it? And is it seriously so hard for the writers to find a real function for the character? I personally think they should give her a baby Bart in one of the upcoming seasons, and have her take care of him. I…
Eh, I wrote a whole thing about why it doesn't bother me that much on another episode's comment section, but it's understandable if it's a deal breaker for you. I would like to see them together, as I think their relationship is the most endearing of all his other potential straight pairings (and I'll be honest, it's…
God she's pretty. *sigh*
Well, this episode she was the designated tablet holder. Because Caitlin's arthritis was apparently acting up. Seriously though, Candice Patton is one of my favorite of the young cast members, I hope she gets something interesting to do soon.
Yeah… fiction is weird.
So what does Iris actually DO at Star Labs? I kind of wish they would let go of the pretenses and just show her sitting around eating chips and watching netflix, and when someone finally asks what she does there all day, she just shrugs and says "journalism." I like Iris, but that would actually make me kind of like…
On brother/sister incest…
Me too, I'm really looking forward to all of the sex they're gonna have. Yeah, I'm one of those, don't mind me.
Iris was weirded out by it too, at first.
I think they stress the brother/sister relationship to either fuck with us, or to appeal to the weird subsection of shipper fandoms that's really into brother/sister incest. I still ship it, because it's not technically illegal and I think they make a cute pair, but the weirdness is hardly lost on me.
I stopped watching the show mid season two (may pick it up again). But from the picture I'm actually shocked to see that Romero is still alive. Not that I wanted him to die at any particular point, he just always seemed kind of tailor made to be killed off relatively early. Good for him.
I'm deeply ashamed by how long this took me to get.
