Referencing and remaking are different things, the references to DKR were pretty damn loose. If it makes sense within the context of the story he's telling, then it makes sense. Affleck's Batman was still very much Batman, just a different interpretation. Also, Batman breaks Joker's fucking neck in DKR.

Way to use your head buddy.

Yeah, Batman never kills anyone, which is why he's killed at least one motherfucker in nearly every Batman movie, and a few of the comics (sorry, but he killed Liam Neeson in Batman Begins, he just did). You can't really think the idea that Batman doesn't kill is the only interesting thing about this character.

She gets better. I like Iris, but if they want to kill her off, wait a season or two, and bring her back when they're ready to use her, I'll be fine with it.

Yeah, but I have seen 50 Shades of Grey, so I can make that judgment against it, I can't with Sucker Punch. I'm only going by what I know about Snyder (who's other movies do not come across as sexist to me), and the movie's fanbase. At first I assumed it was shameless wank fodder for dudes, but the fact that it seems

Yeah, exactly that reason. I was just making fun though.

Actually, killing her off would follow the comic books.

Don't compare Beyonce to Kim, Beyonce actually has talent.

They have a ton of fans, so they must be doing something right. I personally think they have good chemistry (although it was awkward at first), but I understand that sort of thing is subjective

I don't mind Cupid, I think she's pretty fun as far as villains of the week go.

Perhaps, still have to see the film to draw a conclusion. But I know when I was in my teens I loved movies about hot women kicking ass, whereas all of the guys I knew loved movies about hot men kicking ass. So make of that what you will.

I still haven't seen Sucker Punch, all I know is that it was accused of being sexist yet seems to have far more female fans than male ones. So I don't know quite what to make of that.

Yeah, I can see that. The tornado thing was the big moment that brought it down a few notches to me. I get it, you're panicked and people behave stupidly in situations like that, but still, let your indestructible son save the damn dog Kevin Costner.

I thought MOS was okay, not bad, not great. I do think that the hatred for it was a little extreme, though. You'd think Snyder caused the actual 9/11.

I loved deadpool. I can get onboard with either extreme. Honestly if BvS is as good as Watchmen (far from perfect but clearly an ambitious labor of love, and oddly watchable to boot) then I'll at least respect it.

Yeah, but that's the impression I'm getting. All I know is that everyone I know who has seen it early loved the crap out of it.

I think they're assuming that as a comic book fan, I can't be entertained by angst, but I usually am depending on how it's presented.

I keep hearing that criticism, "it isn't fun." To me it makes it seem less like the movie won't be entertaining, and more like the critics are collectively eight years old. But I'll wait to see it myself.

Sadly enough I knew that too. I just didn't want people to think I was a weirdo.
