You could tell me that a Caprice is better in every conceivable way than a Crown Vic, and I would still pick the Crown Vic every time. It just looks so much better. Even though the platform is over 30 years old, it doesn’t look nearly as dated in the style department as that thing. The Crown Vic is a modern classic.

There is no more room in my heart for love. It is now filled with feelings for the Bristol Bullet.

Interested in an Android motorcycle helmet?

Bought a small window/sun roof beetle in Germany (1969). Before shipping it to the east coast I had a VW dealer do a full tune-up, including valve adjustment.

why do you space these stories out so much? I love them but I know I wont see another one of these for weeks

“Because you can get surprisingly far on looks.”

Did you get your pants fixed since the last Karma update?

The problem is, if they’re not changing the appearance, that means they’re probably going to use the same tooling. And if they’re using the same tooling, you can probably expect a lot of the same build quality problems.

What’s the problem? Crappy build quality? Better let the Chinese handle this one....

what is that you say

The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the white zone.

I learned a lot of my mechanical skills from my dad who grew up abject poor in the depression (he and his dad literally lived in a log cabin they built and they panned for gold and hunted to survive). He had a million tricks to fix mechanical devices. The one that stuck with me isn’t all that tricky but its the beauty

Good point, but your comparison was bolt to model 3. Also, it’s only cheaper assuming gas stays at $2 a gallon over the course of ownership, if we see $4/gallon again the ev quickly becomes a better finacial decision.

I will have to disagree with that comparison, or at least add a caveat. For some people, a 200 mile range EV hatch will be just as practical as a 300+ mile range ICE hatch, for those who will be using the EV in a city or suburban environment where most of the day-to-day driving you’d do won’t take you out of the range

Is this car a Haldex AWD ringer? I’m guessing he has a defeat switch when he does his totally unnecessary FWD burnout, but plugs it back in for the race. When he launches you can see a puff of smoke from his rears, and he leaves a small patch of rubber on the track.

Here have a gold star to go with your smug satisfaction at pointing out an autocorrect error on the Internet.

These will sell just fine. They will only be $30k on paper. Leases will be popular and after 3 years they will be great deals on the used market. Just like my $17k Volt I bought last year.

GM could produce a better looking, more revolutionary, and more reliable product than that offered by Tesla and the US dealer body would still fuck up the project beyond salvation.

The Bolt is larger and much quicker than a Fit. 0-60 in 6.9 or less, vs. 10 seconds.
