I don't know about anyone else, but I prefer the design of the old clock to that of the new one. Plus too, there's something about giant numbers ticking down that makes me especially giddy for a launch, and I'm not sure the equivalent of a flat screen with a clock widget is going to fulfill that desire.

Can't comment on this particular train itself, but the potash trains that run through here are often 100 cars long and are moving at a good 65 to 70 mph. That's not top speed, just what they travel at.

Orthopaedic surgeon here, we use suture anchors all the time, the almost never get removed. Plus there have been bioabsorbable implants for at least a decade. These sound cool though, but more of an evolution than revolution.
