Does the torque advantage make this a more entertaining drive? I’m also curious whether the difference in price will come anywhere close to paying off with better MPG/possible improved reliability.

The C8 was launched in 2000, shouldn’t their performance be compared to cars of that generation? It did 0-60 times in the low 4s, absolutely comparable to a 360 Modena of the same year with similar price tags; if you could ever option out the Ferrari to be close to the quality of the Spyker.
discontinued the manual transmission option in the 228, 340 and 428 models
I really don’t think that would’ve changed their fortunes, but I can never argue with more performance.
You, myself and AMGFTMFW apparently. I just love the details on this car way too much. I have a similar motor in my S4 and it just has the most perfect sounds for a car like the Spyker.
Spyker C8
It didn’t have to make it to production amirite?

3rd Gear: Phaeton Delayed: I’m not exactly sure how investing more money into the Phaeton project will somehow make it a more profitable prospect? R&D seem to be the largest brunt of cost with making a vehicle; unless they were planning on making the entire thing out of unobtainium and are now planning to make it out…
That frontend is just an awful mess imho.
I hated spending $8,200 more for hydraulic steering, but my goodness does it make a difference in the way this car manages itself around turns.
Yeah... COTD is not far off.
Any news on whether this V6 is going into the 4Runner? I really hate how the 4.0L handles pretty much everything I do daily and it’s the only reason I’ve kept my ‘08 V8
My only concern with mileage is if it corresponds with a high maintenance bill. If a car needs a new timing chain at 100k miles and I’m close with no records showing it was done earlier, I will certainly negotiate the price down lower than I would’ve otherwise.

Neutral: Would You Buy A Chinese-Made Car? Sure, why not? It’s not a children’s toy and I don’t lick my cars or touch them without surgeon gloves and coveralls.
As a Coupe one of these days. Otherwise, almost identical to yours - Cargo Net and + Advanced Keyless... then about $10k in track tested parts.
