Example of American Capitalism in Action #6,992,103

It's the same problem with comment sections. Anonymity destroys community.

My uniformed guess is they couldn't get the rights to it.

What's the over-under on the number of Harley Quinn "slutty psycho" Halloween costumes this year? 5 million?

Misplaced audiophile fetishism doesn't dampen the fact that millions more people now have access to this incredible music.

I was just about to type the same thing.

And so many comments from people who don't even know who this band is. It's become a standard AV Club music article feature.

Good for Wavves. Nothing wrong with speaking out against hate.

And that's the problem with citizens using their votes to "send a message" rather than pick the best options of governance. We in the USA are going to find that out this fall…again.

I was wary how last week Oliver made the Brexit process seem like purely a conspiracy cooked up by Fascists and racist idiots. He might have missed an opportunity to explore the issue more deeply.

All I have to say is:

That's too bad about this column ending, but thanks for the CBB coverage.

I've just recently boarded the Maria Bamford bandwagon. I binged-watched the whole series and was blown away. This is easily one of the best series Netflix has produced yet.

Not sure about that. Seems like Hugh Hefner and his magazine have been relegated to punchline status for at least the last couple of decades by anyone who's not a horny teenage boy.

This is a kind of show where I don't mind if the actors break character and laugh at what's going on, but only if (unlike too many Saturday Night Live sketches) what they're laughing at is funny. And I was losing it right along with them at Kroll and Mulaney.

It's not that I don't care about it, it's just that I haven't generated enough personal interest to see it despite the rave reviews. It sounds like it'll be around for a while, though.

Very true, he does seem to enjoy playing dress-up. It's probably much more lucrative than focusing on dramas, too. I think about the the start of his career when he starred in movies like What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Donnie Brasco and co-starred in Platoon. That Depp is still in there somewhere, I think and hope.

For a while he was in the "Greatest Actor of his Generation" conversation. He had to turn in that card after the 26th Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.

I wish someone could get in Johnny Depp's ear and convince him he doesn't have to play costumed weirdos all the time. He's an excellent actor and should have far more varied films under his belt by now.

A solid, if unremarkable, lineup. As the great Costanza might say, not showin' off, not fallin' behind.
