The interview with Kosar was heartbreaking. Just watching him break into a sweat when he talks about having to deal with his father made me want to cry. Not that any of the other guys' stories were any less depressing. There's entire industries surrounding these athletes whose only purpose is to take their money. How

It really is amazing how far NBC has fallen on Thursday nights. It shows just how huge shows like Seinfeld and Friends were twenty years ago that they could afford to pair them with crap like Union Square and Veronica's Closet (shows that would make Two Broke Girls look like a viable viewing alternative) and still

If polarization means not playing patty-cake with people who think rich people shouldn't pay taxes and Black people shouldn't be President, then I say let's polarize.

When I was watching this, I thought "Wow, I could really learn to hate this show." And I kind-sorta was into it last season. I'll give it two more spins before I come to conclusions.

A nice touch from this week's episode: one of Hank's surveilled phone conversations has him trying to lock down a sponsor for the police department fun run, since the former benefactor got his head blown off in a nursing home.

Todd learning to cook: BAD idea. The second he's got it down, he's going to Declan, his tenting crew, or even working for himself. He's got no problem shooting a kid, he wouldn't think twice about putting a bullet in Walt as soon as it makes sense to do it. Thanks to Walt, he even knows how to get rid of the body.

I've seen all of the UK series, and I wouldn't call this version bad, but it is a pale imitation. It could have been much worse.
