I admit I was one of those who tuned in just to see if it was as bad as the critics said it was. I have to say, I've seen worse.

D'oh!
I'm glad this show is being renewed. I've been watching in off and on for the past year and it only got better each time I saw it. Between this show and "Don't Trust the B___ in Apt. 23" I'm going to have to update my TiVo unit's recording schedule, just as soon as I assure it that "ABC" and "sitcom" isn't a…
Funny, I heard the same thing 20 years ago when "The Real World" premiered. And yet, here we are.
Robin's hot. She should have more to do than pine after Chloe for no good reason.
I agree with you about Ed Helms. I feel the same away about James Spader, who I feel did a fantastic job with an unfocused, underwritten character. And I like Catherine Tate the actor, but not Nellie the purposeless character.

If Penny or Bernadette gets pregnant this season or next, that will be the end of this series. Weddings and births are de rigueur for American sitcoms, but babies just aren't funny.
I would argue "Frasier" (1993-2004), which ran for 264 episodes, maintained a high quality level pretty much throughout its run. There was a weak season here and there, but overall it was solid for all of its 11 seasons, mainly because of its exceptional cast and great writing.
@ Alia: I have to disagree about TNG. That was one of the few TV shows of any genre that kept getting better season after season. Entrerprise had one fantastic story arc, the Xindi story in Season 3, but had nothing going for it before or since.
I think a more direct action would be to restore the Banking Act of 1933 (aka the Glass-Stegall Act) that separated commercial banking from Wall Street speculation (aka gambling). Clinton's decision to repeal it in 1999 has been a disaster.
I noticed that too. One of them mentioned a non-disclosure contract she signed. I guess everyone's embarrassed to reveal how much they ripped off their clients.
