Plausible, complete and hard to discredit... the hallmark of all good conspiracy theories. Expect to see this exact text (minus the last line) in an email from your aunt in a few months with a subject line of "fwd: fwd: fwd: re: the tru...".

I feel misled; his clothes made no material difference to the installation.

These old films are great. There's just something about physical models that is more impressive than CG simulations.

I think hazard lights are obviously the most misunderstood, because people here can't even agree on what they're for - and we CARE about driving.

Eh. The silhouettes look cartoony and there are a few shots that could have been handled better (notably the PIP of the Jag) but overall it wasn't bad. With a good editor and more cohesive direction it could be a contender. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the current intro was pitched in its final form; I

Yeah, this is the exact reason that the electric bike I'm building has Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries instead of Lithium Ion Polymer. The battery pack is where the gas tank was and it's very nice to know that in the unfortunate event of a crash I won't have a literal fire between my legs. The lack of fire or

Someone get this man (or woman) a star!

I'm sure they are - I certainly don't mean to cast a shadow on the incredible engineering prowess of the people who work on the 911. Those guys could probably mount the engine three feet outboard and still build a remarkably well-handling car... but what could they accomplish if they didn't have to spend the time

Good read! Makes me want to get a lift kit for the STI.

Call me a weirdo, but I'd rather have a Cayman - they seemed more "designed" as opposed to the 911, which feels like it's working under historical constraints. I feel like the Cayman has potential to be a better car, if only Porsche would let it outshine their halo car.

Well, let me tell you about the race bike I crashed and am converting to electric and... oh. Right; "nerdiest CAR mod".

Something about the engine being stopped, I think?

I've said it before, but this is an amazing PSA. Usually these types of heart-wrenchers roll right off me, but this one is eerily effective. I'm big on safety / gear anyway but I get choked up even remembering this PSA.

Sounds like a case of target lock - in a "featureless" desert, you're going to focus on the only landmark... and if you're drunk, you're probably not going to think to stop looking at it until you hit it.

Groupie for the attorney general?

Man I can't wait for twenty years to pass so we can all be embarrassed by these ridiculous vowel-dangling names.

Not sure why this link isn't getting more attention, it's got some good impressions in there; most notably: "The BRZ feels more like a joint venture between Subaru and Lotus than a collaboration with Camrys-By-The-Billions, Ltd."

So far, I'm a fan. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but this whole thing is sounding pretty good.
