Well, at least they're putting money towards something useful and not wasting it by trying to improve... what are they called again? Blurn signals?

What wonderful timing! I was going to try and find a junkyard near me this weekend, but now I can just crowd-source it by reading all the replies.
Yes.
This is cool as hell, and I look forward to a day where "women in motorsports" is so common as to not warrant a story. Also, let's not forget that Mini won a few WRC stages in Alsace!
Yeah, let's not forget that the guy still has insurance - now the insurance company just has to, you know, actually pay out on the policy this guy has been paying into for years; e.g. do their job. This is just corporate america v. the gov't; the little guy might actually make it out okay.
Hat tip to "rainbow dash"? Are we getting story tips from ten year old girls now? Maybe the next generation isn't doomed.
PR shills aside, that camera had some pretty good audio. O' course, I'm sure it helped that the car presumably has no sound dampening material anywhere on it...
I won't say they're invincible, but STIs can take a surprising amount of abuse - I think wrapping one around a tree is the only way to keep a Subaru dead.
Man if you ain't driving 11/10ths on public roads you ain't nothin', bro.
This omission is the greatest tragedy of our generation and you are a hero for bringing it to our attention.
That's basically how they took down Wee Bay.
It does help, and I appreciate the confirmation. I definitely appreciate the care and dedication that went into Forza 4, but guess I'm a bit spoiled by the variety offered in GT5 (I'm a sucker for variety).
ARGH why couldn't they put in a rally portion like GT5? My favorite part of GT4 was taking everyday cars offroad, and Forza won't let me do that. I'm not sure which one I should drop all my loot on (for the game, a 3-pedal force feedback wheel, etc). I've got Dirt2 and it's great, but I love being able to simlulate…
C'mon, we all know the answer to every QoTD is the same: Miata.
At least you had an easy time finding your car in the school parking lot.
For a second I was hoping it'd be a shot of the [WRC FRANCE SPOILER INCOMING] accident that put Loeb out of the race on day 1.
Thanks, that's good to keep in mind (my roommate has a ps3).
This is aptly timed, what with that Forza 4 demo coming out yesterday and all. For the first time I'm actually pondering building one of these myself, and now this article comes along.
brb, gotta go zip out to the parking lot and give my '07 a hug.
I gotta agree. What better showcases American ingenuity and our love for flaunting regulartory loopholes? Well, except everything that Smokey Yunick worked on... [en.wikipedia.org]
