@deftony876: Yamauchi looooooves Skylines, so get used to seeing a million nigh-indistinguishable variants as long as he's at the helm.

@Tossed Pissed Mazda3hatch sideways: Well, I've already got what I really want, which is an '07 STI... but I wouldn't mind having a second vehicle so I could rally prep / cage the Scooby.
@pauljones: Long ago, I wasn't too impressed with them (lol sub 200hp) but the Jalop zeitgeist has changed my mind. Now I'd love to have the cash, space and know-how to own / maintain one of those.
The worst part of it all? It's an automatic.
@Gemini-Phoenix: I've got a wireless logitech mouse / keyboard combo that uses low-profile keys. Keyboard's great, mouse is serviceable. I didn't even have to search too far for it, my local Best Buy had it.
@ number five: Now THAT's what I call launching a brand!
@anthromt: Paraphrased, it's "after the accident, the monster got your wonderful mind. what did you get from him?", to which Gene Wilder grunts like the monster and turns out the light. Terri Garr then sings the "oh sweet mystery of life" line as Madeline Kahn does in the previous scene.
@pauljones: I was referring more to the effect his publicity had on his company, but you make a good point.
@Adidac425: My spellcheck wanted me to spell whisky "whiskey", but after consulting the bottle on my desk, I went with "whisky". Then again, it's scotch whisky - which regions spell it "whisky" and which spell it "whiskey"?
@pauljones: Tell that to John DeLorean.
Speaking of beige, it seems like Toyota has mistaken all of our uses of the word "Toyota" as an endorsement of Toyota and are now running Toyota ads to get us excited about Toyotathon!
@Novaload: Ironically, the driver and his chemo patient buddy will be hit next week by a semi truck driving on the wrong side of the road. The truck driver will be given $3000 each from Road Trauma Awareness and Barwon Health.
@rjwe87: You just gotta take that hit and not worry about it. Like in my case, it's suffering through people telling me about how I should lower my STI and up my boost pressure and all that when I just wanna find a dirt lot that nobody minds me using.
@Jason Wright: Ah, I'd only played it on GT 3 and 4. Good to know they nailed it (as best they could).
Wait wait wait, is this still the one-off that some rich guy had commissioned for himself, or did I miss the memo about this getting a larger run?
@Dawgvet06: I've only been on the 'Ring once but it did feel pretty rolling. I can speak more to the general problem of simulational variance, though - Laguna Seca's corkscrew is much more impressive in real life than it is in Gran Turismo.
I like to believe in the "law of conservation of care". Sure, half the number of people might care about their cars but they care twice as much.
@pauljones: Honestly, even if you're Casey Stoner it's good to slow down in the turns. I'm not a great rider myself, but my two street accidents have been a result of unexpected poor road conditions.
@long_live_the_E36: As Clarkson has pointed out, all the cocks who used to find themselves drawn to M3s are now veering towards Audi S4.
The only dynos I've been around were in a GM facility a few years back and they had some STURDY bollards directly in front of the car (among other safety measures).
