Why would you buy a $1,200 camera with a fixed lens? I really am curious as to what is going on to make people want this camera. There are so many better options that are even smaller, like Micro Four Thirds offerings.

Just FYI, the MacBook Air came out before the current version of the Alum MacBook Pros, and it had the kind of LCD enclosure that the current ones do. They released the black border screens after the MacBook air was out with the silver border.

@sydcinema: HDR video is the designation used currently for video shot using HDRI techniques. Time lapse is the term for a film created by stringing still images together.

@bma2192: It is inaccurate, because I clicked the link thinking it was HDR video, which does exist. I wouldn't have if I knew it was an HDR time lapse. They are different things, and no matter how much you try to argue semantics, the fact is that the two are separate.

The title is misleading. It is not video, but time lapse using a motorized dolly.

I don't know what this was, but I experienced a similar event. I'm not claiming it was aliens, but it was definitely unidentifiable to me.
