@drewids: I'm not a scientist, but this is my guess: orbits aren't perfect circles, they are elliptical, meaning that they overlap if close enough in proximity.

I agree with most everything in this article except for extended warranty. I have never been able to sell a gadget more because of an extended warranty. Because it isn't something you can hold in your hand, most people don't see the value.

All the videos I have seen over the years makes me wonder if anyone has ever successfully cooked and eaten a turkey this way.

@gamerjason88: Yours and others opinion about $200 savings is mentioned in the book "Predictably Irrational." He states that people are irrational in that they will drive across town to buy pens for a dollar when the pens are usually $2 (half price!) but when buying a car they will let a few hundred dollars here and

@AgentRockstar: I do actually! I own one of the 'slim' models even though I don't smoke. I just think they are cool and fun to fiddle with. I was surprised at how many variations they came up with. Can you do any of that stuff?

@ender89: Whenever you assign value to something you are projecting your own value system upon it, and that is as far as it goes. There are some activities that most people find worthwhile, yet many still find inane. For instance, playing football or shredding on a guitar. Some love it, some find it useless.
