The comment section of local city newspapers is always a horror show. Usually makes YouTube comments seem calm and measured in comparison. The comments on Philly.com(website for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News) is an absolute shit show of racism and ignorance.

Meanwhile, his approval rating is still at 39%. Down a whopping 5% since his inauguration.

I worked myself into a rage debating with people over at Seattle Times in the comment section. Why did I do that to myself? I hate everything now.

This is 100% on the GOP, too. Do you think that McConnell or Paul Ryan agrees with those yahoos? Of course not! But they wanted to ride the populist wave to a majority. They’re Dr. Frankenstein and the Trump wing of the GOP is their monster.

The GOP couldn’t even repeal Obamacare, which they apparently all want, with a majority in both House and Senate. No way immigration reform is getting passed, which about half of them don’t support.

Making the move to end DACA and throwing it to Congress, knowing they’ll most likely let it die, is just cold blooded. There’s no other way to talk about the truth of this decision other than to say it’s fucked up and inhumane.

This is what blows my fucking mind: we’re being held hostage by the GOP base. Democrats don’t want DACA ended, establishment Republicans don’t want it ended.
