Just to repeat if you didn’t catch it, if you charge your hammer and press O on the PS4, your hammer will starting glowing and power up. Not only will this increase your damage, it will make you immune to being tripped by allies. It’s a huge, huge part of playing hammer.

My advice is to watch a Gaijinhunter tutorial on a weapon you’re curious about playing. His content is thorough enough to give you a nice starting baseline.
