Huy Fong Foods has had their sriracha bottle design trademarked for decades so they presumably couldn't get it cleared to use on the show, especially since the sauce is the cause of the character's stomach upset - manufacturers don't like their products associated with things like that. The Texas Pete bottle has a

This is a one-hour drama. Mindy's pretty much guaranteed to be renewed for syndication money anyway.

Or it's intentionally choosing to prioritise its fictional narrative over realism for entertainment purposes.

Considering how excited Cobblepot gets whenever Jim shows up, that favour could end up being one night of passion.

Yeah, a lot of people enjoy watching an episode of television, reading a critic's thoughts on that episode and then discussing it with other fans.

AV Club reviews are supposed to be read AFTER you've watched the show.

I did not expect this show's tone to be so… The Mysteries of Laura. Using a baby monitor in place of a wire? Very Laura.

They are expanding their summer programming and so some of their renewed series will return in the summer next year (most likely Reign and other underperforming series).

I guess it wouldn't have given him much time to escape unseen if he pushed her off the roof.

It's pretty common for a show to be run by someone new once it's picked up to series so how is this stupid? All they needed for this show was a capable and experienced writer to oversee the adaptation of the Australian series - there's not a great deal that can go wrong.

But the doctor told him he was being a jerk in this very episode so he does get called out on it. His jerkiness was one of the key reasons why he and Mindy spent so much time butting heads earlier in the series, so I don't think they're trying to play it as sweet and romantic. It's simply one of his flaws, but I think

I doubt they cut it out. They most likely receive episodes days, if not weeks, in advance so they probably don't have the version with the title card.

We Brits pronounce it 'Mah-ri-gold', though, so it doesn't sound like 'Mary' and therefore merely shares the first three letters with the name - a very loose connection.

I don't completely agree. Heavily serialised shows are obviously going to struggle to maintain quality, but SHIELD was developed as a procedural series. There are plenty of TV procedurals that manage to maintain quality over 22 episodes. Are all the episodes as good as each other? No, but even shows with 13 episodes

I noticed it in previous seasons, but it feels like they've been doing it a lot more recently.

Can't we have this show on for 22 weeks and Agents of SHIELD as the stop-gap that even less people are watching?

Has anyone else noticed that, on a fairly regular basis now, a number of Mindy's lines are ADR'd in? They must be re-writing lines even after production on an episode has finished.

As if a guy like Ronnie has an obsession with anything other than protein shakes.

Really thought Rafael and Michael were going to kiss during the slapping scene and the fact that they didn't almost made me bump this episode down to an A-.

Arrow's A- doesn't mean that this episode is considered a better episode of television than The 100's B episode. It means that this is considered an A- episode of Arrow and that episode of The 100 is a B episode of The 100.
