Fair enough! :)
We've got a bunch of 12 litre jugs (around 3 gallons) that are glass and we've also got several water purification systems and tablets and those weird filter straws. My bf doesn't like storing too much water and would rather rely on purifying water. I think the plasticizing compounds are less of a worry if you keep…
True and we also keep a bottle of bleach down there for adding to water if need be.
Well for me that difference between the two phones is not enough for me to spend the extra money. My Galaxy worked for a long time and and maybe I didn't have all the latest things on it but I didn't care. That's my point. All those you things you just listed, I do not care about those, which is why spending more…
Exactly!
I have to say about the tech myths - recently my janky 3 year old Samsung Galaxy finally fell apart. I wanted the Galaxy III or the Note II so so badly, and looking back, I have no idea why. I ended up buying the Samsung ACE II and it does everything my boyfriend's Galaxy 3 does. Sure mine is smaller and maybe it's a…
That is a great tip! I make my own liquid soap, and I make sure to add tea tree oil or vitamin E to my soaps to get them to last as long as they can.
If you package the rice correctly it can last up to 20 years (with mylar bags, oxygen absorbers, etc.) It's also better to use brown rice than white.
Haha fair enough. If the world begins to end we'll share some plain rice :P
Oh we use glass because eventually chemicals in the plastic will leech into the water. That's why you see expiration dates on bottled water sometimes. (Sidenote - we buy plastic jug water for everyday consumption because we drink it so quickly, the glass stuff is for long term storage.) We buy ours in like 12 litre…
We've got a lot of water (glass containers), seeds, rice, etc. stored up. I guess we're insane (him more than I), but it didn't cost us a lot and it's nice knowing it's there even if it's just us who go broke or something.
Personally, there's pretty much 0% chance of having sex on day 1 because it's way too much and there are sometimes gross clots so nope nope nope. After that I have no problem with it.
Yay!
My SIL uses sunscreen for gel manicures every time and is super serious about it. It always struck me as a bit over the top but if you're going like every 2 weeks, better safe than sorry I guess.
I am loving this series of articles! I am definitely going to get a better burr grinder now.
I make myself a latte every morning and it is a pain in the ass for sure. But - it forces me to start to wake up and focus right away in the morning. Also, I feel like it helps me practice delay of gratification, since I can get a latte less than a 30 second walk from my house. Making it myself takes time and effort,…
I did but two months ago I had to use it all up except for $100, which I had to use last month. I'm in the process of trying to put money back into it at the moment because things are going better now. I am so so glad I put money away!
Thanks for your thoughtful response!
Thank you! I think a nice grinder would be a great gift then, for the person in your life who likes coffee but isn't really sure what they're doing (i.e. me).
