It seems it might be quite a while if ever these cars can handle scenarios like a garbage truck in front of you making stops or the tree guys orange cones blocking most of the lane or even a cat running across the street. Avoiding a massive pot hole etc.

I owned a Passat with a 5 speed and 1.8 T. Fun to drive yes. But that was about it. Check engine light on at 20k. Clutch was terrible. Can’t even check your air filter without having a special tool to lock the lower latch. POS.
