She's come off under-powered ever since she nearly lost a fight to Toad. Toad, for god sakes!

Meh. The actress was fine i guess. But Storm came off as an under-powered (as usual) lackey. More henchman than X-Man.

I didn't see 21 Jump Street (yet. I will eventually) but that seemed to me a concept that didn't need the 'meta-comedy' makeover. Undercover cops in high school is a great premise for a straight-up action/adventure movie, unlike say, The Brady Bunch, Baywatch or Chips.
