So the transport mode on the M3 is just for kicks?

Unless you or someone else can provide some insight, I think you've completely missed the point of breaking in a car's drivetrain.

That's one bad ass MF.

I think it's because the TIV there is meant to actually get hit by the tornado to record data from inside, but most other chasers just want to get data points from nearby.

Tim Samaras and his crew didn't use a heavily modified vehicle because it wasn't necessary for the type of research they do. There main role was to collect environmental data around the tornado. They often would drop probes for the tornado to pick up that would transmit data back to the crew concerning the inside of

That is because the vast majority of storm chasers have no intention of actually getting into the path of a tornado and letting it hit them. The armored car you posted is reed timmers and that is exactly what he does. The chasers that died would place probes in the path and get out of the way.

That's not a "Storm Chaser" it's a "Storm Interceptor", the goal of that vehicle is to position it in a place where the Tornado goes directly over it, everybody else just basically wants to stay just to the outside of the Tornado (though that doesn't always happen)

Looks like an AH 3000 - not a sprite!

Jezebel has singlehandedly made the term "slut shaming" jump the shark.

Why is it slut shaming to call out a company for putting sexual messaging on pre-teen girls' clothing? Nobody's calling out the girls.

Is it slut shamey? I thought it was just pointing out the fairly gross sexualization of teenagers by a store making claims to being "classy".

Ugh. Did you read the sentence before that? Anna was making a point about them stating Kate was "too obvious." GLITTER ON THE ASS is pretty OBVIOUS.
context clues, friend

Yeah, save reality for the real world.

Cyclists are the most vulnerable vehicles on the road? I refuse to feel bad for someone who's vulnerability is self imposed.

Whenever there is an issue between car folks and bicycle folks, this always happens. One person says the other is a jerk or doesn't pay enough attention or whatever. The fact of the matter is

THIS!!! My friends and I have gotten IDENTICAL messages that look hand written, but are actually the result of people leaving fake, "If you ever want to sell your car... blah blah blah" messages. It turns out that they're actually a used car sales business and this is one of their ways of getting more cars on the lot.

Good suggestion! I'd argue more original looking wheels and an included front bumper make it more tasteful though.

I'm partial to Henrik Blok's Fire Arrow.
