People have been trying to blame the BLM movement everything bad for years. This is nothing new. If they’re not blaming riots on BLM, then they’re trying to hold it responsible for the deaths of police officers.

The posts were in poor taste but what disappointed me the most were the comments on the apology post on the Petrolicious Instagram account, where an alarming number of people eesentially expressed their agreement and support for racism.
Yea, he’s an example of a person who made money and assumed it made him right.
I think what’s even MORE disturbing, is the absolute DELUGE of sympathetic comments on Insta.
The inability to see systemic racism and to actively defend it makes someone racist.
He called BLM - literally a movement that began as hope that, just maybe, America could assign the same value to Black Lives as they do white ones - a domestic terrorist organization.
I get frustrated sometimes, too, but that frustration has never tempted me to claim that BLM = Domestic Terrorism.
