I’d be careful about that. On the Subscriptions page, Apple says, “If you cancel, you and your family members immediately lose access to Apple TV+ and the remainder of your 1 year free trial. You can’t reactivate this trial.”

Amazon seems to have gone all-in on those cheap Chinese knockoffs. I’ve stopped looking on Amazon for anything charger related as a result. Like search for “Apple Watch Charger” and all the results have fake “Made for iWatch” or “Charger for Apple Watch” icons all made to look like they’re officially certified. 

Yep, my aunt advised me to do that when I was just getting started. It does add up, and it’s not just the $ amount that matters. It’s also good because it gets you in the habit of putting money away. Banks are seriously deficient in their support for two factor authentication. AFAICT, no major US bank supports software token like an authenticator app or hardware token like Yubikey. It’s just SMS and even phone call support.

No more than running something like a space heater for long hours. Ideally, you want to put it on a dedicated circuit or a circuit you’re unlikely to share with other devices. It’ll likely be pulling down the max amperage so anything else on there will trip the breaker.

I realized something the other day. I’ve had more downtime from failed forced Windows 10 updates than any malware I’ve ever encountered. For me, Microsoft is essentially a malware vendor.
