I’ma let you finish, and they put on a good show, but the Super Formula pit stops were cool to see too! I liked their auto-jack but the jump over the nose wins.

Totally. I found it surprising that the NYT mentioned transactional tips for doormen since I didn’t even realize that NYC doormen got tips like that. My tips have always been annual but then maybe the difference is residents vs visitors?

Door men don’t actually just hold doors for you. When I’ve had them, they also received courier deliveries, handled grocery and dry cleaning deliveries, and served as security. They’re a convenience but definitely useful.

The zero recline people are just as annoying as the 100% recline people.

Someone else mentioned it but if a direct ethernet line isn’t possible (and probably isn’t realistic except in apartments), a Wifi bridge is the way to go. I’ve used one from Edimax but a router in bridge mode works fine too.

I mean, it’d be perfectly acceptable if the headline were “How to Handle the End of Times” followed by tips on how to cash in your rewards points and whether you should tip the new messiah (and which half to tip).

On the other hand, if the congestion fee significantly reduces traffic, I might end up driving in instead. My current train commute is close to 2 hours each way and costs close to $40 a day. Driving in with no traffic takes 1 hour but costs $60.

So is that the source of the Camry Dent?

Yeah, wall outlet and potential USB-C problems too.

Yeah, wall outlet and potential USB-C problems too.

Something changed on this website recently where lots of the articles are borderline behavior shaming.

Yeah, the best I’ve read are at 90% efficiency. At an L2 (overnight) charge rate of 11kw, you’re throwing away 1.1kw, basically like running an A/C unit outside just for the heck of it.

It’ll do double duty when someone wants to ICE the spot, they get electrocuted!

Lolwut? $10/day/person?! So for a week long trip, a small family (or group of friends) could tip a few hundred dollars?

At first I thought this was like an X4, but these pictures make it look more like a 5GT or even 3GT.

Yeah, Dual Motor is Tesla parlance for AWD.

The SUV module doesn’t seem too useful for plywood storage but it would let you carry a full roof of solar panels. May not be too useful for adding range, but it would be great for power on a worksite or a campsite.

Hopefully one of these cases, they get the plates on a car and cops can civil forfeiture that shit. There’s all the incentive the cops need to pursue the case.

Hahah that hit home, right down to the dealer.

Yes to all this. Another implicit benefit: you don’t have to negotiate trade in value at lease end. Dealers love to play games with trade in values and most people just want to get rid of the car.

At what point do you tell the person trading in a 2016 car who can’t budget an additional $50 that they should probably just keep the 2016 car?
