Your post got me really thinking about this stuff! To be honest, IMHO the biggest reason people want to enforce dress codes in business class is so they can feel better that they’re not part of steerage, to basically separate themselves from the “people of Walmart” stereotype that coach has become. To that end, the

See, those are totally justifiable judgements. Behavior is entirely judgeable IMHO and it says so much more than what you’re wearing.

I dress down in business/first ALL THE TIME. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten attitude from the attendants, but I do notice it from passengers sometimes. I love spiting them, it’s almost part of the fun nowadays.

There’s nothing more tedious than a 12 hour fancy event in fancy dress. Besides, they give you pajamas and slippers in first class. I love getting my tasting menu with wine pairings in total comfort.

Nah, I dress down so I can judge how the sales person treats me. If he’s only being nice because I look good, I don’t want to give him my sale.

I honestly haven’t flown coach in years. In first, they always give us pajamas and slippers anyway. So why is it still an issue to dress up in coach?

I don’t follow. Exclusives don’t change how you experience the console. They change how PS4 owners experience their console.

Now those are dive planes.

The difference is the person making $200k can dial his salary creep back but the guy making $50k can’t magically make $200k. Nowadays, I’m closer to $200k than $50k and while my spending did increase with my salary for a few years, I was able to pay off my credit cards and reduce my expenses. To the point that the

Haha, maybe if you want the watered down 4 cyl. version.

That timer at the bottom of the steering wheel makes no sense. It should go in the HUD.

Doubles as armor!

But it would be easier to use an electric once the apocalypse actually hits. Easier to charge via renewable power sources and less maintenance. Perfect for scavenging trips and instant torque means quick getaways from the hordes. You might even be able to setup a electric shock system for the humans trying to rob you.

Yeah, I had MB Tex for three years. It honestly wore a little better than the leather in my current BMW.

Re-read that article. It doesn’t say 30% of all flights. It says 30% of flights during the hottest times of the day on the hottest days of the year.

I’m curious how the study came to that conclusion. Phoenix made headlines because of extended periods of high temperature (120 deg+) that grounded some airplanes. Are they saying LaGuardia will see the same temps by 2050?

Now that they own it, don’t they also take on any liability issues?

A common response to gentrification and rising costs is, “if it’s too expensive, why don’t they leave?” or “No one’s entitled to living in a specific location.”

Who’s gonna put a $5-10k nonrefundable deposit on a car that wasn’t finalized and had no final pricing and no estimated delivery date except “probably in a year or two”? I wouldn’t even put that down on a car that I ordered to my spec with pricing negotiated in advance.

He’s technically correct, at least in the context of credit scores. The renter’s credit score does not affect the owner’s insurance rates.
