The only people complaining about the BMW shifter are people who don’t own one. Once you drive it for a few days, it’s second nature.
When I was a kid and my Mustang GT transmission died, my dad just went to the junkyard and we replaced it over the weekend. By the time a 2017 Volvo is a 10 year old used car, wouldn’t there be enough junked models to do the same? Or is the volume just so much lower that it wouldn’t be an option?
