It has an actual color interior..!

Socialism was never meant to be a system of government, only an economic system. The biggest mistakes of communism were tying it to paranoid authoritarianism and putting petty bureaucrats in charge of people’s livelihoods (like making people do jobs they don’t have the talent for).

Cute how you think hard-working successful people will be anything beyond well-off.  Being genuinely “rich” these days these days involves a degree of luck.

They’d be less likely to afford all the Porsches in the world if they paid their fair share in taxes.  They might only be able to afford one or two, or perhaps a (gasp!) used model like most people driving Porsches.

That’s OK, we’ll take the real world.

I would like to hope it’s something like for-profit healthcare or prisons, but it’ll likely be allowing people to pilot vehicles without computer guidance.

We’re likely going to lose at least one car company from this, may as well be Aston.

My God, it’s like the missing link between the Beetle and the Golf...

Sorry, “fun” has been cancelled until we have a vaccine.

It’s simple: “muh freedom” types who think social distancing is communism/tyranny are generally more attracted to trucks and they are continuing to buy vehicles. Those of use who understand the importance of social distancing are generally attracted to cars, are not.

Hmm, perhaps a modern version of the Elite/Eclat/Excel?

I don’t think the things you want to go away will do so, but I think things will be different. Possibly less traffic due to people working from home by choice instead of necessity, provided their employer doesn’t see a noticeable drop in productivity. Fewer flights for business purposes due to people getting used to

A lot of us American actually don’t like pickup trucks and are sick of the market trying to convince us we should.

And we get to watch all the choice drained out of the market.  Cool.

And what have they done with said profits?  Oh, that’s right, cancel all of their cars (or let them wither on the vine with minimal updates like the Charger and Challenger) and replace them with crossovers, or add to their existing SUV/pickup lineup.

Now playing

They’ve got WAY better songs than that...

Exactly how is that a weird requirement?  Having originals minimizes the possibility of fraud.
