Yeah the space combat feels really tacked on. The game needs it, as that’s kind of an important aspect of space games, but hopefully they expand on that soon (before base building, which wtf).

I figure the lack of being able to fly anywhere even close to the ground has to do with the landing procedure maybe. Gotta be a reason for it, unless it was just a bad idea.
I think it’s suited for people who really liked exploring in the Mako in the first Mass Effect.
I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. Not having many issues with performance. Had some hitching in the first few minutes but it’s cleared up after raising the frame cap to 60. That’s prepatch, haven’t played since the newest Steam patch.
For whatever reason, I find that wallpaper depressing.
A more apt comparison would be playing Minecraft for 450 hours before killing the dragon.
In an MMORPG, paying for convenience is paying to win, as circumventing time in an MMORPG is about as close to winning as you can get since it’s the primary obstacle to achieving pretty much anything of note.
What weirdness?
Not really much choice but to wait.
Been playing Panoptes all weekend (okay my weekend is in the middle of the week). As for everyone else’s weekend, I plan on playing Victor Vran. I had recently bought Grim Dawn but I just can’t get into it. Victor Vran seems to be the answer as it does all that I feel a modern ARPG should (minus classes and gear…
That looks pretty neat. Not sure why it’s called Prey though.
“Scary stuff”
Yeah, I don’t see how it was any more “uneven” than any other great tv show. Said it elsewhere, but I think people are too used to marathoning Netflix shows at this point.
I enjoyed every bit of it. Get annoyed with all the complaints about pacing. Can’t have a pay off with every episode. We all love Daredevil and Jessica Jones and they do the same.
I had never even heard of the comics. First episode had me hooked and I think I ended up watching each three times while watching them over with friends. Had great pacing, just disappointed everyone had at the end. But it really fit the show. The scene with God was excellent.
From the Steam reviews, sounds like it’ll be best to wait for some patches. Was surprised to see “mostly negative” for this game.
You’ll know what I mean after a couple of planets.
Just going on the streams, I think the people looking forward to exploring are going to be disappointed. But then, maybe a patch will save the day.
I think that’s going to be at the core of people’s disappointment.
“trying to be a good movie, as a result it had a lot of heart, it was endearing and the actors come across as actually caring about its quality.”
