I am a week older than him. I don’t look like a crypt keeper.

(I’m a guy)

My story is from the Other Side of public sex (as in, I wasn’t the one having it).

I’m sure all that stuff about Stephen Miller is true, but it’s missing out on his base motivation:

You know, I was going to read that excerpt of Miller, but now that I think about it, fuck it. I don’t need to know what makes him tick. The answer is already there: hatred.

PLEASE include either the National Suicide Prevention Hotline or some other relevant resource when posting articles that discuss suicide or self harm. It is genuinely not that hard. It seems that Jezebel has fully committed to not including this information on recent articles addressing suicide.

I agree 100% on not remembering childhood the way our parents think we may, and I think it’s great you and your mom had an honest discussion about it (whether it was awkward/uncomfortable for either of you or not). Not only does that build an even stronger bond between you, it allows for healing if/when necessary.

I know that the UES does have a lot of $$$, but it also has a huge number of folks who are CERTAINLY not rich. I live (in a very small apartment) elsewhere in Manhattan and this is such a garbage take. Who do they think works on the UES? Who runs the cafes and bodegas and restaurants? The lack of compassion is

Man, it almost sounds like the NRA was some kinda scam playing up fears about the sacred 2nd amendment being in danger just to fleece it members and exert pressure on politicians....to keep the scam going. Huh.

Thank you. I agree, I shouldn’t look to far ahead outside of the things I can affect. Everything else is fuel for binge drinking.

Although I didn’t know it at the time, I now see that all the acting out I did as a kid was a direct result of my very fucked up home life. I didn’t think my parents valued or loved me. My sister beat me up on the regular, and she made it very clear I was an awful child. Kids and one teacher bullied me at school, and

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine canceled his Trump visit after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Children are still people. If you had a disagreement with an adult, would it be OK to hit them? Or would you try to find another way?

I’ve had a mix of W2 and 1099 work myself. A little over a month ago I was laid off from my W2 job. I have completely switched over to my 1099 work, which was something I was wanting to do at some point. Preferably at a time when the GOP wasn’t trying to fuck up the Affordable Care Act. Preferably at a point where the

I get where you're coming from but ASD isn't a mental disorder. Genetics clearly played a part, but her kids are not crazy, they are autistic.

Thanks for your question—you make a good point, and I should have elaborated. Good journalists write about people with disabilities the same way they write about anybody else: by writing ABOUT them. For example, “Benjatrix is 36 years old and lives with his parents. He enjoys watching TV and playing with his dog.

Your second point is patently absurd. Blind allegiance to Biden, regardless of any given issue, is not going to win him the election.

It’s not that they didn’t care that the plays were adaptations—they expected it. “Originality” was not a virtue in the arts at the time; a true genius referenced what was already there in interesting ways. This showed that you were well educated and not arrogant enough to think you could do something better.

This. Personally I think Bill’s history was already so skeevy that even Pedophile Island won’t be any political earthquake for Democrats. But if it is, so be it.

Before we hear any of the greys talk about how this is ruining those Dems with the ramifications of Clinton....
