@Beavertank: Actually I think it's more thinking in term of short-term bottom lines and faulty risk assessment than anything else in cases like these. If the risk had been correctly assessed (and maybe a failure happened here due to lack of prior data and erring on the cheaper side) then you can bet they'd have two

@tomsomething: I want to point out that shot 5 is impossible using current laws of physics.

@paulrules: I know automatic watches do exactly that, well not into electric energy they store it as potential energy in a spring, but yeah.

Gizmodo what's with all the guest posts recently? There's a lot of Wired content, and some PopSci.. how come?

@Dragoona: DO YOU WANT SOME TEEEAAA???!

@Obsidian: To be fair though it's become just as much a way for the player to decide whether to play the foul without breaking the pace or not.

@MrCheatachu: Isn't that (from my very crude understanding) what american football is?

@sip: Probably loading them vertically was too much of a hazard were there to be any wind. Still not sure it'd be more eco-friendly over a well built house, but I guess it might be equivalent. Would need a lot more info to figure it out.

Someone explain to me how exactly this house is sustainable? If they had to close 5 LANES of an expressway to get the wings up there, I'd guess a bunch of diesel had to be running the trucks for that, and the helicopters...

@Ryanrule: The difficulty with that will be finding a process that makes that efficient enough to turn a profit from, which might be tough considering how much junk landfills contain.

@Julius Seizure - Canuck: Oh I think there's one near my place... They sell basically macaroons in a bunch of different (and sometimes very odd) flavours, and some other pastries? Or was this from Le Nôtre?

there are two types of places on the internet for this stuff, pirate bays, and places of ninja video. Enough said.

@Siderz: [insert inappropriate joke here]

The clip is down for me.

@ArseneKarl: Still, it's built in to the browser, which to me feels like an uncomfortable step towards blocking what is at the end of the day the revenue stream for these sites.

As much as I may dislike ads on some websites, especially the type that I use once and then never go to again, I respect the fact that for cheap people like me to get free content the editors still need to be paid, and having some ads on a page is a fair compromise to me.

@Douken: No, I think it's worse. You buy the game new, or no DLC for you because the game's unique code's already been used.
