@newgalactic: Advertised speed is in Mbps (MegaBITS per second), the speed you're talking about is MBps(MegaBYTES per second).
I get somewhere between 6 and 8Mbps DSL where I live, and guess what, I can up/download more than decently, and EVEN Skype!
isn't it supposed to be the version of the NT kernel? I remember 2000 disks being 2000/'NT Workstation 4.0'. By that logic Windows XP is 5, vista 6, and windows 7 fits right in (except that some idiot decided that windows 7 would be kernel 6.1 for some obscure reason) #windows7
While I will gladly use AdBlock Plus on most sites I visit, I really don't think that blocking these ads is either worthwhile or decent.
@Scott D. Feldstein: Everyone who cares about stuff like that should have a more or less legal version of photoshop/photoshop elements methinks, and those using GIMP should have enough knowledge to translate the instructions for photoshop into something they can apply themselves.
@ Everyone bitching about add-on support, have you ever looked up the Nightly Tester Tools extension? It allows you to change the compatibility of an add-on in one click (so it doesn't nag you with all the 'this add-on isn't compatible with this version of Firefox/Gran Paradiso/Minefield) and if you take a decent text…
Running Gran Paradiso Alpha 8, doesn't want to install, saying that it doesn't provide secure updates.
Second the "unmount from the bottom" method.
Vista will quickly be downloadable on the "questionnable" networks, do not worry. I don't know how the update capability and such will work out but, you get the idea.
about that shoebox: iekh, thats like the ugliest shoebox ever made, i mean come ON, that looks like what we do in geometry class, all cubes!
Kudos for the PS work.
Please, please, whatever you do, please change sacré bleu to sacrebleu (which i believe is the correct spelling). I can't stand such an aberration.
