@CamoZombie: Nor is anybody else's but for those already using Windows Media Center as a DVR this is quite handy since you can now access it like a TV with your remote instead of using the mouse and browser.

@akurei77: The Kill-a-watt will cost about $15-$20...and it is useful throughout your household.

@reg4c: ...fourthded if anything ;)

How about a player that will queue all songs linked on the page? That would be a great script. (Not that this one isn't fantastic too! Thanks!)

1. News Hour (PBS)

VNC has always been free.

@cisengineer: Oops. I just realized that's center screen. I'm just confused then... why?

Just hideous. Try Google Reader instead to keep up on your favorites. Seriously.

Is there such thing as a usb device with only a few buttons that you can program for certain functions such as ALT+TAB and CTR+TAB, Shutdown, etc. That way you could open a few programs at boot and quickly go between them without access to a full keyboard.

Intel hasn't updated graphics drivers for my Dell D400 where I wanted to put it (Pentium M, Still great little laptop, not some old POS) since XP. I can only get 16-bit 800x600 so it's not going to work. I may install it on my son's computer just to see what he does with it.

@Popsonian: I use the keyboard for everything. I rarely use the mouse and get annoyed when it is required. Even web browsing is much faster, more efficient if you can learn the keyboard shortcuts. I will destroy all macs someday simply because they lack the alt key. News at 11.

@cisengineer: its, not it's. I'm terribly ashamed :(

I do this with a spreadsheet and I'm working on my own ajax version to integrate with my (sorry, private) auction creating site. It truly puts a stop to many of my whim decisions to pick up cheap stuff for resale. Honestly, the only way to come out ahead on eBay is to have a HUGE profit margin to cover fees and

I don't even use Spybot as a Malware removal tool...I mostly use it for it's blacklist features, for throttling/removing startup programs, and (teatimer) preventing startup program entries (qttask denied! muahahahaha...)

Delete U3 and install pstart or portableapps move on. Nothing to see here. Oh, and see [www.portablefreeware.com] for a full list of portable and hackably portable apps—LOTS of them for any possible use.

Makes sense, but don't they depend on DVD sales as part of their revenue stream? Maybe they will earn revenue from this in some other way. PBS has some really great programming but I probably won't use this having a DVR at home.

@LastVigilante: Said "error state" is the reason why I switched to Avast. Before switching I used it on all my systems, my family's systems, and whenever I saw a friend who was paying for McAfee or ... *cough* Norton I offered to replace it for them. They've lost dozens of possible clients just from my experience

I prefer [auctionsniper.com] as a sniping tool. :) Thanks for a misleading headline yet again lh.

It's about time they did this rather than just hosting poorly encoded tv-rips for two weeks at a time until they are taken down...What took them so long?
