Here's the thing: if you're important to some decision or other, they won't just email you. They will call, and if that fails, they'll send someone to your desk or office and find out you're not there.

I just leave my email program open, and let it grab everything that comes in. I have a couple of auto-forwards built in (they now dump to my iPhone), but not much.

I've gotten hooked on Lipton's Green Tea to Go (at least, the Mandarin Mango version - the others just don't taste right). Zero calories.
