@Mindfield: To be fair, what killed the Pre was the hardware. It had lots of factory issues, underclocked processor (500Mhz a year ago, so the Torch is even less impressive in that light), felt a little cheap, etc.

@ryoshi: You realize the fault here is in Apple's PDF Renderer and not the PDF standard, which though made by Adobe originally, has been an open standard for years now... right?

I'm amazed that so many people think this is Adobe's fault... PDF has been an open ISO standard for two years now, and this doesn't affect desktop pdf readers (like Adobe's Acrobat). Apple wrote the PDF Viewer for iOS and as such it's THEIR software that's the issue, not Adobe...
