Most definitely it has a lot more first person information than the encyclopedia.

The Guide is a quick 10 min read, but The Enchiridion/ Marcy's book is amazing. The detail put into it is amazing, plus the background info is feels inducing, its a great primer for whenever Stakes comes on.

I definitely think she (Amethyst) a soldier class Gem. As for the overcooked jab from Jasper it's probably because she popped out of her whole many years after the Gem war on Earth. The Guide to the Crystal Gems is my source

Best moment from the episode had to be Pearl: I am a PEARL (Proceeds to punch Peridot right in the meat-cheek)

I figured that was the case. When in The Scabbard when Rose calls her 'MY Pearl'. This helps crystallizes the extreme love, adoration, and devotion that Pearl has for Rose.

Damn you Roliand, Damn you, Harmon!!!! When I want to feel all feelsy I watch Steven Universe and Marceline and Ice King episodes. Rest in Power Birdperson. When Tammy said her favorite thing to eat was bird-dick, I believed it deep down in my heart because only when you are truly in love is your favorite thing

@SlyDante:disqus I think you are on to something with the end credit song

Eric, of course, we needed this hit of Steven, we as a fan base have been fending for some Sugar's good stuff.

The most important thing I got out of this episode was the sequel to my favorite movie 3 Brothers the epic continuation of the story of 2 Brothers

'I'm comfortable being called a Nazi you think there is some other word that would hurt my feelings? Think before you talk shit!'- Gangsta Indiana Jones-ish Nazi

Episodes like these makes me feel the need to give props to Mike Lazzo (Head of Adult Swim Programming) for backing wacked out creators like Justin and Dan. Without his support they would not have the freedom to push the envelop as much as they do with the studio heads.

Maybe we'll find out whenever Season 3 comes out

Hey I see what you did there (da-dum-dum-CHING)

The feels of this episode "Damn you Sugar, damn you I say". She and the Crewniverese are level infinity Emotion Lords, nom nomming on our emotions to fuel this show that we all love. This show continues to go above and beyond my original notions of what this show would be. The deep emotional complexities, flaws, and

Onion isn't evil he's just misunderstood, like Macaulay Culkin in The Good Son. Both are misunderstood by the outside world, but I get their gentle souls

Great episode, though this is more than likely the calm before the storm. I love how even in a somewhat innocuous episode the Crewniverse is able to dive in and mine mature and emotional moments for the characters to explore. Plus who doesn't loved being skeeved out by the sounds of Onion's birth.

I'm glad they are jumping right in with this new Steven Bomb. New opening animation- check, new theme song arrangement- check, diving head-first again into the emotional complexities of relationships and the view of one's self in that equation in 11 mins of cartoon animation CHECK. Drinks on me Crewniverse for a great
