I understand your complaints, I do. But I think you’re judging the entirety of Locke and Key (the show) on the entirety of Locke and Key (the book). Most of the book had smaller scarier moments. Especially because they were broken up into actual comics (or volumes depending on how you consumed it). And a ton of YA

Well, in all fairness, the comic is laid out in a very odd way bouncing around in time and stuff as the volumes continue. Did you read the whole story? Because there is “seasonal” arcs in the comics... and Dodge’s story stretches the whole run.

So most of your complaints about it basically boil down to things you find as plot holes in the show? Let me see if I can try to explain those away for you.

Most of them require no proof they they’ve actually done anything. I’m saying change that so they require proof.

I might give a shit about this if the billionaires and richest in the world got a tax break or cut for actually proving they donate a substantial amount to underprivileged areas. This doesn’t have to be anything specific.... Go buy a million meals for people, provide receipts and boom, money off taxes. Help fund a

So, I ask again, what are you disappointed in? Most of the teen drama/YA stuff that’s going on in the show, happened in the comic.

Which part are your specifically angry about?

I’m a bit worried of them “seceding”, but only because I’m worried about what they’ll call their “new” country.... My guess is if the base is dumb enough to not wear masks, they’ll end up trying to call it ‘Murica or, hell, even America... Because “The United States of America” is a different name than just “America”.

I was using scholar as an example because honestly, I don’t remember the class that they were telling me to play. But it wasn’t Bard or Scholar.. it was another healing class.

I did seek out an FC as I was told that’s the best way to find people to play with and stuff, but I was in a corner of an unpopulated area... which was the “guild hall” house that someone bought. It wasn’t populated so I thought it’d be better than a more populated city. I was never told it was against the rules, nor

Imagine going to any IRL event and someone was screaming slurs at everyone and the organizers said ‘maybe he doesn’t know its bad?’

Thanks for saying I’m the toxic one and then proceed to say how they were toxic for kicking me out or telling me classes are useless (and yes, like Pug, Lancer, etc).

I mean, I was literally playing a bard and was told my skills don’t work the way they say they work...

Let me go back and read my comment.... did I say New World is better? No. I don’t think I did, I just said that toxic chat in online games is pretty fucking common.

I went back to FFxiv because I heard about the “wonderful community” and all that. I spent two hours on there before I started hearing constant toxic comments. So you might just have some rose-colored glasses on because hearing FFxiv players talk about how “wonderful their community is” really just feels like vegans

The original writer has been asked about writing a sequel series.

For me, honestly, it boils down to two things.

Yeah, there’s a lot of talk on the subReddit about whether the fans want some kind of mount or not.

Well, the skills are only what weapons you’re using... like sword and shield has shield bash, and jump lunge, etc. There’s no like toolbar of skills like in WoW or FF.

I mean, I’ve played in a ton of the beta’s and New World isn’t anything comparable to WoW or even FF... it’s a completely different kind of MMO. No classes, but more based (like ESO) on what weapons you wield and what armor you wear.
