I went back to FFxiv because I heard about the “wonderful community” and all that. I spent two hours on there before I started hearing constant toxic comments. So you might just have some rose-colored glasses on because hearing FFxiv players talk about how “wonderful their community is” really just feels like vegans…

Well, the skills are only what weapons you’re using... like sword and shield has shield bash, and jump lunge, etc. There’s no like toolbar of skills like in WoW or FF.

I mean, I’ve played in a ton of the beta’s and New World isn’t anything comparable to WoW or even FF... it’s a completely different kind of MMO. No classes, but more based (like ESO) on what weapons you wield and what armor you wear.
