they have the internet on computers now?

"…he might be steamed that one of the voters had to recuse for being a creative partner of Tom's on another project, thus denying him probable votes."

So low? Out of what, 10,000 podcasts in the world? C'mon.

I think MATES and Blastoff make good companion pieces, if you get my meaning. They use general topics or snacks as a basis for fun riffing which can get really ridiculous at times. Love them both.

They made a pilot and it wasn't picked up.

I love this show and would love it to get recurring coverage here, but I'd hate for it to be covered by someone who doesn't really get the humour and focuses on reviewing the plot structure. Plot structure is NOT what this show is about.

Considering it was clearly planned, they were probably filled in before the ep started.

Secret? Don't you watch Childrens Hospital?

Eh, Jesse definitely has idiosyncracies that one could find annoying - his friendly ribbing of Community is not one of them. Community fans are so fucking sensitive - you have Asbergers and so does Dan Harmon, that's great for you.

I genuinely think he was fine - it must be an intimidating room to try and "perform" in and he did really well. He's clearly pretty sharp and I found him funny. He was also a first timer and that negative comment above was really lame and cheap.

Telfer was fine, you fuck.

Kill yourself.

The reason being they write like I wrote during college? Cause yeah.

Or that John Cusack vehicle Grosse Point Break.

Why would you lie about h— wait. You don't like what is possibly the funniest podcast ever?! This man is clearly insane.

His appearance on The Mental Illness Happy Hour, the way he speaks/posts on A Special Thing and his subtly changing demeanor on his own show all sort of indicate that he's incredibly egotistic (and becoming moreso) and possibly a sociopath. I still think he's pretty damn funny and love the LMG, though.

Hodgman is condescendingly smug AND funny.

Yes, agreed on Dead Authors. Scott Aukerman was doing his best Rob Huebel impersonation and failing. I really enjoyed the other two eps though, and am keen to hear the next.

I've not seen his stand-up, but his work in Stella, The State and the fucking unbelievably funny podcast MATES gives him the ultimate lifetime free pass. I absolutely love Stella, it's the kind of thing I'd make had it not already been made. Something about their (and Black's) sensibility totally fits my own.
