I'm a fan of Scott's, but I'm not sure what he's going for there. Is he trying to produce high quality comedy, or just fuck around on the internet? Because I'd suggest that podcasts are becoming the kind of thing that can and should be reviewed and discussed on websites like The AV Club.

You have a problem with how professional these improvisers are? K.

SNAKE BOSS!

nerd alert

Yyyyyes! It's the only podcast that makes me break my stoic silence in public and actually laugh out loud while listening. So good.

To whomever reviewed DLM and Who Charted? - you are joyless and I disagree with you.

Wow, it must have taken you years to drive around for weeks!

Didn't Kramer see Elaine naked?

Get iTunes and start using it every day. It's as perfect a music player and podcast database as has ever existed.

How are there still people who are "against" iTunes? At this point you're just being contrarian.

I just meant his phrasing and word choice. I haven't played Uncharted 3 yet, I have no opinion on the game itself.

The review reads as if it were written by a 65 year old river-boat captain, which is odd seeing as it criticises the gameplay for being outdaded.

I never read much about the show, having never heard it. I gave it a shot but the stilted phone conversations aren't really drawng me in. I've read so many good things about it though, I'll keep listening. I'll try and listen to an entire episode before really assessing.

I was like, "Ok cool finally, my chance to get into this show everyone raves about." So I subscribed and… three fucking hours?! Are you kidding me?

I will start listening again when they drop the sound effects. Not hating, I actually really like everything in between. The sound effects just really annoy me.

True, but season 5 was still funny (and holds up on rewatches as a plan old funny TV show).

"Catwoman's zipdown with gigantic bolt-ons is especially egregious."

Yeah but he phrased it incorrectly. Oh, never mind!

I agree that it lost focus. I was wondering why I wasn't totally loving this, and then I realised it was the pacing. The story, the in-between bits… you feel too rushed to do any side missions, yet the overall plot seems to drag (even though it's not really that long).

Actually, the analogy works this way: "Batman: Arkham City is to Batman: Arkham Asylum what The Dark Knight is to Batman Begins". Because you're comparing AC to AA and using BB and TDK as the example.
