My initial thought was it was to throw a wrench into Hannah and Adam's reunion, but thankfully they didn't go there. I could be wrong, but the writers go for lazy writing all the time.

He was on this show when he was a nobody.
Okay, I don't want an abortion debate here. I believe abortion should be legal. I don't want it outlawed. Okay?
I don't want to get into an abortion debate here. I want to talk about the show. I used a poor choice of words about convenience, but I don't advocate outlawing it. I just think there is a time when it's too late except in certain circumstances. But I don't mean to judge others for making that choice. It's just…
I obviously hit a nerve. I don't judge anyone making that choice, because it's a desperate choice. But if you don't want the baby for reasons you stated, why wait so long?
You're right. I wouldn't wait that long because it's horrible. I won't judge anyone making that desperate of a choice, but personally I think it's a bad thing. I have felt babies inside me at 24 weeks, and even if I didn't want it by that stage, I would find someone to adopt.
What do you call aborting a baby because you don't want it? Let's be real here. I am not against abortion, at least I don't want it outlawed again. But unless you're a teenager, a rape victim, poor, sick, baby is sick, or in an extreme relationship and don't want ties with the father, you're making that choice for…
Well, then at least a confirmation of where they end up in the next few weeks.
Yes, she threw up, then told Sample's dad (can't recall his name) that the really annoying thing was that Adam went back to Hannah to help raise HER child, even though the kid wasn't even his. It just seemed like foreshadowing to me.
Thanks!
Another possibility that occurred to me was that Jessa could be sick, like cancer or something. It may explain why Marnie would insist all the girls get together in he shower scene.
I immediately got that impression, and it was further solidified to me by Jessa's rant to what's his name with Sample that Adam was getting back with Hannah to raise her baby, with an emphasis on her, and the kid isn't even his.
Lady who wants an abortion at 24 weeks because she doesn't want children can give it up for adoption. To me, an abortion that late is horrible unless it's to save the life of the mother or there is something seriously wrong with the baby.
The first couple of seasons are a little hazy for me. I thought she was good with the kids, but a bad nanny because she nearly (?) slept with their father.
Yeah, but she was smoking. I thought the seltzer was a clue that she's still on the wagon. But I am definitely convinced she's pregnant.
I don't know why I always thought chinos were jeans, but I will take your word for it.
I watched the after show interview and it left a clue that Jessa is pregnant. They contrasted that scene where she walks into a bar and has a random hookup in season one before she was supposed to have an abortion and found out she wasn't pregnant to this time. Lena said something that made me think this time she…
I don't mind if they resolve everything in the final episode and then devote at least ten minutes on a flash forward showing where all the characters end up. I loved the way they resolved Friday Night Lights and Parenthood. Relationship shows like this should get that same treatment. I hope so anyway.
Well, if that's what New Yorkers call them, then it's fine. Kind of like chinos. No one in any other state calls jeans chinos.
24 weeks is too far along for an abortion for convenience. You wouldn't do that unless it was for health reasons. I've had two babies, and believe me, by 24 weeks you can know the sex of the baby, you can feel the baby. That baby is a separate person, and you can feel it growing inside you.
