I wonder was the sorcerer a priest of the Lord of Light?
I wonder was the sorcerer a priest of the Lord of Light?
Kind of like the Shakespeare/Tudor/King Richard thing, eh?
Hopefully they don't show him fighting on the other side with the wights, though we know he probably will be there.
I suppose I could find the answer on the Internet somewhere, but can anyone tell me if Varys was made a eunich by a priest of the Lord of Light? That's what I assumed watching him so disgusted with the priestess, that it was one of her's that did it to him.
I imagine that's not going to happen considering he's got greyscale. I guess if he found a cure, maybe. I've got to say, I would far rather see Dany and Jorah together than the idiot she's with now. I do not have any interest in that guy. If he left the show tomorrow, I wouldn't miss him.
I thought it had something to do with not being very clean. Powdered hair and wigs and perfume.
That's how I felt about Jamie's rape. You only get flashes of Jamie telling her bits and pieces in the book, but the show devoted at least a half hour to it last season. I understand "show, don't tell," but some things are better not seen.
Why do you think Claire has fertility problems? She thought she did because she couldn't become pregnant after trying with Frank, and like nearly everyone, she blamed herself instead of the possibility that Frank was the problem. Women always seem to get the blame when they can't get pregnant. She managed to get…
My impression is that it was a private school.
You've never seen Good Times? Sad. You should watch it. It's very dated now, but in a good way.
Why not two years? It just seems like a too distant time to ask in light of the previous statement that the Queen wouldn't be there long as her interests lie westward. Then I see the point that he's just putting off the attack and Dany can modify or burn up the agreement when she returns if she chooses. It's just a…
This makes sense. I wasn't really thinking that Tyrion was just trying to avert war until Dany gets back with her dragons.
Exactly! She managed to take out every khal of the Dothraki in one fell swoop, and do it in such a way as to become their ruler/goddess. I thought it was brilliant.
What I want to know is why Tyrion set a timeline of seven years to ween off of slavery. It seemed like that after saying Dany won't be there forever because her interests lie to the west meant he was basically saying they would never have to give up slavery. Why not six months or a year? Seven years is way too long.
She may have been, but unless she was spotting off and on for a while, I would imagine someone like Claire would know that working late in the pregnancy wasn't always a bad thing to do. She was immune to most diseases and kept away from people with viral or bacterial infections, and aside from a little bone setting,…
That's what I think every week, what are those corsets doing to the baby? I think it must have been awful! Imagine how that must feel. I'm glad I didn't have to wear one.
I worked until the day before I had my babies, one a week past my due date. Women did that in Claire's time as well. Poor women did it in the 18th Century. There was no reason for Claire to think she couldn't work at that point unless she was spotting or something that would require bed rest.
Did you really have to?
Ramsey better die like a mad dog, as his father predicted.
Fucking book readers!
