Is it a little odd that the sauna "maze" scene early on in the film is seemingly the only portion of the film with a supernatural bent to it that is never returned to?

Jadis and her crew probably all owned Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome on DVD before the outbreak.

London and New York mostly have the necessary infrastructure too - and I've seen more than a few sports and economics writers argue that the games should just rotate between a few key cities because of this.

This is definitely something that could have starred someone more expensive / famous like say Jake Gyllenhal or Jesse Eisenberg, but a bigger name really wouldn't have added much.

I agree. The dental thing is really the only scene that really makes you squirm.

Isaacs is always great. He somehow seems to have not aged at all since I first saw him in The Patriot 17 years ago.

I think this one really needs a spoiler space to discuss the bonkers fourth act.

It looks more like a shadow / reflection to me than a person. I rewound it to double check when viewing.

Yep. It came out back in like 2009 and basically was a greatest hits pastiche of previous Jason moments.

Re: Good Pilots

Who?

A couple weeks ago I was leaving a screening of Rogue One in a theater that is in a primarily suburban and well to do white neighborhood. There were some older people leaving a screening of Fences lamenting that all the previews before hand showed "dark" themes of the world not being a great place. I think this might

Yeah, I had the same thought. If not Tony or Cap, you'd at least think Vision probably constantly monitors every major news feed accessible to him for potential threats or issues. His JARVIS memories have met Coulson many times.

If you try to make sense of the timeline of the third act and the ticking nuke, it crumbles to dust. There's no logical way any of it can happen in the timeframe presented.

I don't think DMB encouraged as much binge drinking and parking lot urination.

He should steal John Cena's joke from SNL, "If you voted for Hillary Clinton, I'm country star Luke Bryan."

Alex Ross based his version of Jordan on Dennis Quaid so he's definitely been envisioned as your prototypical leading man type for sometime.

Hammer can't open a paper bag let alone a blockbuster movie. His track record as a lead is horrendous.

Shailene Woodley is pretty old at 25. Look for her to play a middle aged mom on The CW next fall.

Kinda crazy they'll pass the mothership in just 3 years if they avoid cancellation.
