I still don't think this is going to be the hit that Rowling and Warner are expecting. They are playing to the hardcore fans and not the broad audience any longer.

Theoretically anything shot on film - especially 35mm and 70mm - should benefit from 4K masters. It's material shot or finished on 16mm, 2K digital or video that will not look much better.
