By buying, reselling, and trading over the years, I’ve been able to break even (not profit) on what I’ve spent on my collection. The one game lately that I’m surprised is worth so much still is Battlefront 2 for Xbox. They’re so common, yet sell for an easy $40. Might be because of all the battlefront hype this year,

Mmmmm how about we just remember more Torins passage.

I enjoyed rage a lot! Except for the part where I lost my save in switching computers... but I remember the character designs being very memorable and unique. It still looks pretty too.

I like 60 fps in games, but I love playing these games with my family more. I’m not happy with this decision

How far we’ve come in 10 years with CG! Can’t wait to see more.

Virtual Boy Wario Land - 1995 - Virtual Boy

I just finished playing P4 and I'm having a crisis. I was anxious to get to the end to see how it concluded, but now I'm just sad that there's no more left to play...

I'm beating a dead horse by now, but this comment was from 2013 people. Things have changed, just like this article.

Again, this was posted back in 2013. Games are doing this a lot more now, I know

Well considering I posted that over a year ago... no

First they're totally optional. And second, these games get continued support. Look at tf2 and how old of a game it is now. Its supported by these transactions and is still updated as a result. With valve games I really don't mind because they offer a market where I can potentially earn money back from these

I remember paying $50 for this when it came out. It's actually what started my whole artbook collection! One tidbit that I really liked was that they said they made sure the Citadel was able to be seen in every level of the game so you always remembered what your end destination was. Valve is full of smart ideas.

Best news all day!

I just finished listening to the last of the GB GotY podcasts and heard you do your sign off! I just wanted to say it was great to hear you guys all in the same room again and I enjoyed your contributions to GB over the years. Good luck at Kotaku!

As a DK2 owner, I'm excited to see that Oculus logo at the end :D

well I misread that. I've not had much luck at flea markets, but I've heard of lot of success stories. I wish I had more near by me. On average if I can tell they don't know the value, $2-3 bucks is a good rate to start at. Can always go up.

I also avoid church/rummage sales if there are others to go to. I always get this : "Well I have it at home, but I can't go and get it right now" . So I'll usually leave my phone number and rarely hear back

My wife and I just started collecting earlier this year and by far my favorite way to do it is through garage sales and trading. We manage to get a lot of games for so little cost.

Got it! Had to email the event organizers to get the name. Enjoy :)

I'll try to find the artist for you. I would've like to post his name with the pic, but I bought it at a convention and so don't remember off hand. He had a slick megaman/protoman poster I almost bought too.
