Hey it might invalidate my opinions with many, but for what it was I enjoyed Sunshine back then. 3D world has so much variety and I enjoyed 3D land quite a bit.

At least your launch PS3 had backwards compatibility too, giving it a reason to replace the last generation.

Looking at the games launch lineup I may not be interested in one until spring. I will get one. It's just a matter of time.
I just wish the launch games were better
Blockbuster was the best summer job I ever had growing up. 5 free rentals a week (movies or games) really helped lower my entertainment costs while home from college during the summers. Plus you got to watch DVDs a week or two before they came out.
Far Cry 3 is one I'm looking forward to playing. Will likely pick it up next on the next steam sale. I tried it on consoles and the controls killed it for me.
Gameplay looks alright, but I'm in a shooter fatigue and this doesn't really seem to offer anything new. Graphically on par with modern PC games.
It only takes 15-30 min to finish so id reccomend playing it instead of getting spoiled. I remember being in grade school and first heard of Pokemon through a preview article in Nintendo Power. I thought the idea was so cool that I bought both games the day it came out! What an awesome game!
