Did they really have to do this in front of a kids playground? You can see children playing in the background while they violently beat him down with a bat.

That is an awesome logo! I've been keeping an eye out for a good deal on Farcry (PC) since I came across the "Real life/Vaas experience" video last week.

I was wondering what the 8 bit intro music was about. This looks amazing!

Despite the annoying and loud sound effects, this sounds pretty fun! downloading

I don't believe it's the first time. Back when that sfm movie of a beautiful moment came out they got some kotaku lovin'.

I don't think Mother 3 is worth all the hype. It's a good game and I love the themes and storytelling, but the gameplay (combat aside) is infuriatingly stupid.

OK Kojima, your game is pretty, but not photoreal. I think that was a pretty lowbar claim

I'm not a fan of the layout on mobile. It takes a lot longer to scroll through the articles I don't care to read. I like the wider layout than joystiq's, but I like how their top articles are thumbnails at the top.

I just built my PC last fall and it should easily be able to handle PS2 emulation. From what I read at the time, it was a common problem that it took plugins to fix.

Wow, funny how this looks nothing like a resident evil game now.

I try to play my copy of FFXII on PC and its nearly unplayable. So much slowdown. Maybe when I have more time to play it I'll look into it more.

Wow, you don't even have to like minecraft to enjoy this.

"...CG models look photo-realistic when you zoom out of the game screen" That's just it though. Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but the closer you get to an ingame asset, the more obvious it is CG. I'm curious how high his bar is set to call something "photoreal". I have no doubt that it'll look good, but he's over

Me betraying my wife (girlfriend at the time) in Halo 3 with a Traffic Cone kill. Power drainer exploded at the wrong (right?) place at the wrong (RIGHT?) time.

He does mention Pandemic in the article, but I think he's specifically talking about Team VS Team games.

Ticket to ride is one of those games I get my non board gaming friends into, but I personally have lost interest in. Cards has also seen a lot of play lately for us (waiting for the xpacs to come back in stock!). I've found Dixit. Pandemic, and Bang to be good light games to get people typical non-board gamers

Of course it is:) There's just only one team...

It's also one of their most profitable games. Since it's free to play, I think adding VR is just another reason to get more people interested in trying it out. If you buy an Occ Rift dev kit, you'll be short on games for a while. If they want you playing one game, it's the one that can make them the most money.

My thoughts exactly
