Reminds me of when I sold my MtG card collection to pay for a prom ticket.

I thought Onlive was awesome for trying out demos. Didn't have to download. Got to play the full game for 30 min.
That's what I was thinking. I do love Grifball.
Yeah it was alright, and it paid for itself and then some through AMEX rewards so I'm all for that. Guess I was hoping for a new gametype that may interest older players.
I'm not a fan of level progression effecting my loadout (in CoD Style). Reach was OK when it just effected your armor. Unlocking weapons was a major turn of from the minute I started. Maybe I'm just looking at Halo 3/reach with nostalgia and have moved on to better FPS since.
Hmm, this sounds interesting. Might look more into this.
I'd rather not waste what little time I have unless someone thinks there's a good reason now to go check it out. Things change. Especially in Halo with the rotational playlists so I thought I'd ask.
Can anyone give me a good reason to go back and play more of this (multiplayer)? I tried playing it at release and it was too much like CoD for me. I really enjoyed Halo 3 (probably moreso than Reach, though I played a fair amount of that too).
With games being over hyped now-a-days, I hesitated picking it up. I eventually found a deal where I got it 50% off, and now after playing it, I would've gladly paid full price for it.
Pokemon aside, this was my favorite gameboy game. It's on the 3DS virtual console, so do yourself a favor and play it!
When I was a kid I had a Gamestop manager curse me out of the store because I came up and asked him a question (I was the only one in the store. Mom was out in the car)... It was along the lines of (Yelling) "Why don't you Fing buy something already!!!" Guess he was having a bad day...
Who else bought Japanese Pokemon TCG booster packs to see the new pokemon from Gold/silver?
I've yet to hear anything good about these upcoming consoles. Can't say I'm too excited.
man, Amazon still hasn't sent it to me
Dreamcast talk only opens old wounds for me. I saved up and bought a used dreamcast when I was a kid. Only had 1 game. Turns out that it was the only game that worked on the system. Wish I found that out before gamestop's return window past...
Interested in Kinect 2.0 for PC development side. Console stuff is a complete turn off. As someone with multiple consoles in the household, I wont support this non used game idea
I think he's probably alright with that

Games definitely can be a helpful distraction in general to take your mind off things. I remember a brutally cold Black Friday years ago. The best thing I did was play New Super Mario Bros Multiplayer with a buddy of mine. I completely forgot about the ice forming on my clothes and time flew by!
I think they hype train has been pretty out of control this year. I'm going to wait a while and see what lasting impressions this leaves once the JRPG-hungry people calm down and I can decide how much I'm willing to spend on it.
