Who cares, Valve takes their time and doesn't rush. Disney has already given EA exclusive license to continue developing Star Wars games. Since they gutted LucasArts and made it into a licensing studio, EA is our only hope...for a decent SW game.

JADE EMPIRE is very, very good and probably the most underrated game in the BioWare stable. I enjoyed it a lot more than DRAGON AGE I (or II, based on how II is going so far) or MASS EFFECT 1.

Obsidian proposed a 'Knights of the Old Republic III' to Lucasfilm and Disney last year. Apparently they're waiting to see if they have to now re-propose it to EA as well. However, Disney are apparently only interested for now in games tying in with the new movie trilogy, so a 'KotOR III' would essentially be a STAR…

The combat in jade empire is terrible and the story is uninteresting compared to kotor.

KotOR 3 is never going to happen and if it ever does, it certainly wouldn't be Valve developing.
