I feel like it’s because Heard is in the spotlight. Weinstein is, as previously noted, a producer, meaning by and large the public didn’t even know who he was; Cosby, while being a known actor (and probably a legend if we’re being honest) was both old and largely retired by the time all the stuff about him came out…

I think they’re likely just saying nice things about someone they know and like to cheer them up / change the narrative a bit while addressing the issue then insinuating that racism is OK if an actor is bad.

The franchise is stepping up its defenses with Obi-Wan, whose mastery of Form III, Soresu, will keep the haters at bay!

Or -- and hear me out, because this is a little wild -- two well-crafted shows can succeed without either of them needing to be a reaction to the other or their audiences.

People always look at the money being paid and say “what are you complaining about?”  What they’re complaining about is that Hulu/Disney stands to make millions and millions off of toys, licensing, theme parks, etc...and the cast is the major reason why the show works.  More than likely, Hulu low-balled…

For a TV show that’ll pull in a LOT more than that over it’s lifetime, and is practically impossible to make (successfully) without those people? Nah, you can open up that purse way more before we get to the “you’re making your fair share” point.
