If they could than why has Microsoft always done poorly everywhere that isn't an English speaking country. In Europe Microsoft has always been 3rd, which is odd because that is the largest PC gaming market. Latin America, Middle East, etc. Microsoft just does not sell. Only time they outsold Sony was the 360 in North

That’s a bad stereotype. The iPhone didn’t take long to take off there. Smart phones took a while to gain traction. Japan is where Apple is most dominant with over 70% of marketshare. In the US Apple only has 50% and in Europe even less.

Beyond the people in the room, yes. The morning after, reddit and facebook were falling over themselves to praise him for showing those Hollywood bigwigs what’s what. Heck, Tom Hanks’ grimace was the thumbnail for the very popular youtube clip of the monologue.

People were so laudatory of his Golden Globes monologue a few years back, treating his digs at streaming services (which he works with) like some huge truth-to-power moment; as though he hadn’t been invited and the monologue certainly vetted by the network beforehand.

Yes. It’s the same group. Eduardo Saverin is still listed as a founder of Meta even though it used to be called Facebook.  There’d be no Chicks without Lynch.

I don’t recall Aziz going hard right.  He mostly just disappeared

Plus, his act of burning all the heart-shaped herb so there could be none after him just showed that his own ego was a higher priority than the cause he espoused or the oppressed people he claimed to stand for.

Was Carano that big though? I only know her from the star war. I don’t know who Tucker is at all.

I think Marvel publicly firing Majors within minutes of his guilty verdict being made public means they have zero interest in giving him any additional screen time or the opportunity to make a graceful exit.

That’s a good example.

Better ending: the whole thing was Bob Newhart GMing an rpg.

It literally wasn’t. It’s amazing how people still get the ending of Lost wrong.

Don’t forget the constant “these properties take place in the same universe” theories. Usually because they’re by the same creators and those creators include easter eggs alluding to their other work. Instead of just treating it as a fun thing, it has to be some grand connection that will never come to fruition.

I always ask the question of this type of fan theory: what would it add to the story? What would be the significance of it being a dream? For example, I remember reading somewhere that some people thought that Phoebe in ‘Friends’ was daydreaming about being friends with five other people she saw through a coffee shop

Agreed about that online check bullshit. I don’t buy stuff digitally because in the end it’s an expensive rental. But I had Xbox gift cards and Alan Wake 2 is annoyingly only available digitally. So I “bought” it. One night when I was playing the Comcast internet went out and I got a pop-up saying I can’t play without

But unlike Cussler he hasn’t made himself a character in his works (yet)! (For those who don’t know, Clive Cussler wrote many shipwreck related books and often the characters went to consult with Cussler himself).

The man does have a sizable ego, there is no doubt about that. But he often delivers on his promises so there’s that.

Funny he doesn’t exactly name his theories that were controversial with historians that’s become accepted fact, and he skipped over two major historical controversies, his depiction of First Officer Murdoch and owner Bruce Ismay.

Contracts don't make them immune to legal action. It just makes things more complicated

So you definitely didn’t see the movie. Or you’re a fucking idiot. Either way.
